Welcome to the OAMR scholarship program! OAMR's mission includes enhancing the quality of the office of municipal recorder and encouraging dedication to the profession by providing educational experiences of the highest quality. As part of our ongoing focus on providing our members with educational opportunities, we have developed several scholarships that provide financial assistance to members who might not be able to participate due to funding restrictions.

Current scholarships available (with deadlines as listed):

  • May 2012 IIMC Conference in Portland, Oregon – December 30, 2011

  • June 2012 IIMC Professional Development series in Tacoma, Washington – February 3, 2012

  • September 2012 OAMR Annual Conference in Ontario – July 13, 2012

  • May 2013 IIMC Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey – August 3, 2012

Special note: Since the 2012 IIMC Conference is located in Portland, Oregon, we will suspend the Mid-Year Academy for 2012 and will likely combine the usual September Academy and Annual Conference into just the Annual Conference composed of academy sessions.

Please review available scholarships in more detail below. You can fill out scholarship application forms electronically and print them out and sign them or fill them out by hand. If you have any questions, please contact the Scholarship Committee Chair, Debbie Werner, at 503-681-6269 or debbiew@ci.hillsboro.or.us.

IIMC also offers scholarships and grants. More information can be found on the IIMC webpage.
